Time & Location

11 Jun 2019, 19:00 – 22:00

The Tooth & Claw, 50 Baron Taylor's St, Inverness IV1 1QG, UK

About the event

Want to read some poetry, rant, bit of a book, or puns?

Want to share some dark thoughts, or some pretty words, cathartically vent or inspire Facebook mums?

No words or verse are out of bounds, we're not easy to offend

But if you want to make words rosy, it's up to you my friend.

--

If the above medicore attempt at rhymage penetrated you in any way then we encourage you to come along to the birth of a new spoken word night! The evening is sure to be populated by people who have something to say or read in front a group of like-minded half-cut show-offs in The Tooth & Claw, Inverness.

The event will run from 7pm - 9pm the second Tuesday of every month and requires absolutely no previous experience (unless you have experience, then that's cool too). Basically, if you wanna take part then just show up and get on the list, and if you don't wanna take part, then just show up and have a pint and watch some locals attempt what could be classed as culture, eh?

Also it's **FREE ENTRY**, but we will have a collection tin for Mikey's Line & The Hive Project if you'd like to donate too. It's a grand cause that helps folk when they need to talk and we are pure all about that.

So grab some pints from the downstairs bar to give yourself a bit of dutch courage if it's needed and join us for what sure to be a varied night of poetry, prose, punchlines and pints.

We'll be doing a big event like our launch one every three months, this event is a more accessible evening for people to try out new or old things, share thoughts, ideas and words, ken?

18+ - not suitable for little ears!
