Horror in The Highlands - Screaming Dead

SCREAMING DEAD are one of the original gothic punk/horror punk/deathrock bands. Like The Damned, the band’s oeuvre includes purist three-chord punk alongside more nuanced gothic rock pieces. They have often been credited with coining the term “horror punk” in early ads for their label, Skull Records.

Formed in Cheltenham, UK in December 1979, Screaming Dead have been an inspiration to many bands in the Horror/Punk/Goth genre. Simply put, they are unique, genuine, and full of energy, there really is nothing Dead about the Dead....
