BrokenFoundation Collective Presents NECKFEST 2023
This year we're doing two days of some of the best Punk, Metal and Hardcore that the underground has, and doing it right in the capital of the highlands at The Tooth and Claw in Inverness.
So far announced:
Saturday 11th March:
BURNER - Death Metal/Hardcore from South London, signed to Church Road Records and ready to tear it up in Scotland for the first time ever.
BELOW THE NECK - The Highland Metalcore Heavyweight's return to their home turf, playing their favourite venue. Expect intensity and energy as always.
LURE IN - Chaotic Mathcore meets Hyper-Dream Pop in the best way possible. Super fun band with an intense live show that has to be seen.
TRUTHRUINER - Hoods-up hardcore from Jute City - one of Dundee's finest make their debut in Inverness and it's not a moment too soon.
SLOWMOVE - Scottish post-hardcore never sounded so good, this 5 piece have played in Inverness before and left an indelible mark on all those who saw them. Fresh music coming soon!
OCEANS ON FIRE - OOF bring some raging metalcore (the roots of Neckfest) to the fest. This lot have released a trio of singles over the last while - one to watch for fans of Trivium et all.
PUPPY KICKERS - The band will be best horrible name ever make their Neckfest debut, this punk-funk-metal outfit are fresh on the scene and will be the band kicking off the Saturday for us.
Friday 10th March:
GOODBYE BLUE MONDAY - misery-punk from Glasgow/Edinburgh, Scotland. Formed in 2015, the band play infectious and invigorating melodic punk rock, influnces by the likes of Iron Chick/Dead To Me/ Off With Their Heads.
ALLDEEPENDS - Cowpunk hardcore with a banjo and enough energy to overload a nuclear reactor. This is a band that has to be seen live.
I WILL TAKE YOU HUNTING - Post Punk bliss from the moray duo, the first ever release by BrokenFoundationCollective was their album, "Don't Go To Bed Mad, Stay Up All Night and Fight" - they will be kicking off our friday event and making it MOVE.
With another 6 bands to be announced over the coming weeks, hopefully this gives you a flavour of what's to come and to get excited for.
